Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I schedule pet service?
Start by filling out our "New Client Form" so we can schedule a Meet & Greet. Check email for "Account Activation Email" and activate account. Create your own password and complete profile detail including pet information. Download "Time To Pet" App from App Store/Play Store Select Schedule Service - choose “Meet & Greet” option, first Meet & Greet is complimentary and a necessity to come in person to better understand your pet's specific needs and ensure we are the correct fit for your family, and that your family is a great fit for us! After your meet & greet, you will submit scheduling requests via your online account or the mobile app, and you will be a part of the Top Dawg Family! After each visit, clients receive automatic updates via our app. These updates include the GPS tracking of our visit, as well as any photos and notes taken.
  • Are you licensed, bonded & insured?
As a professional pet sitting and dog walking company, we are fully licensed, bonded and insured for your protection. Before hiring any pet sitter or dog walker, you should always ask for proof of licensing and insurance.
  • How do I submit a scheduling request and pay my invoice?
You can request and pay for services, instant message with our team, and update your records all on the Time to Pet mobile app! Please specify the desired time in the notes of your request and please remember we operate on a two-hour window one hour on either side of your desired time.
  • What’s our most popular service?
Good question! We offer drop-in visits, overnight stays, dog walking, and pet transportation but most of our clients request 30-minute drop-in visits. A half-hour visit is enough time for us to love and feed or walk your pets without being rushed. We also offer 45 or 60 minute visits for shy pets or pets that need a little extra love!
  • How far in advance should I schedule?
We suggest submitting requests for pet sitting while you are out of town around a month ahead, and requests for dog walks a week ahead. We always encourage planning as far in advance as possible as our schedules do fill up each day and space is limited.
  • What types of pets do you care for?
We care for just about any type of animal. We have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, goats, snakes, turtles, reptiles, ferrets, pigs, gerbils, mice, sugar gliders, prairie dogs and others. Have a unique animal? Just ask us!
  • What are your payment terms?
Payment in full is due prior to services beginning. Invoices are generated at the time of scheduling and aren't due until the day before services begin. Depending on the service you select, we may require a non-refundable deposit, especially for holiday and overnight bookings. We’ll let you know if this is necessary. All payments are made securely within the booking app, Time To Pet, once you become a client.
  • Do I get to meet my pet sitter or dog walker?
Yes, I will be coming in person for our Meet & Greet and it will always be me coming back so that your pet will already be familiar with me and my scent. That is one of the best benefits of not having a new person coming by with every visit. I have owned and operated the company for 3 years now without skipping a beat.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
When we book your services, we reserve exclusive time for you and your pets and have likely turned away other clients during this time. Our policy applies to the entire reservation invoice amount. Full payment due 24 hours BEFORE service, $5 late fee per day 50% deposit is required at the time of request if the sum exceeds $500 50% cancellation fee if canceling within 24 hours of a dog walk or single drop-in visit 50% cancellation fee if canceling within 48 hours of an out-of-town request (overnight, live-in, series of drop-ins) If a non-refundable deposit has been requested (primarily for holiday and overnight reservations), a cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
